British Shooting proudly present the National Schools 10m Air Pistol Championships 2016/17.
The competition is split into two areas - north and south - and entrants will be separated into age-specific groups. 
The best shots from the north and south will be invited to the National Final which will be held at Sports Wales National Centre in January 2017, hosted by the Welsh Target Shooting Federation.
Southern Schools 10m Air Pistol Championships
Date:  Wednesday, 12 October 2016 from 9am.
Location: Leweston School, Dorset, DT96EN

Closing date for entries: Monday 3 October 2016.

Pupils from all schools can apply to take part in the north and south National 10m Air Pistol Championships. 
All eight individual finalists from each age category and the top two teams from each age category will qualify for the National Final in Cardiff. 
Competition Details:
Individual Event: (Age as per School Year).
All mixed gender categories: Junior (Year 6, 7 & 8), Inter (Year 9, 10), Senior (Year 11, 12 & 13)
Team Event: Junior, Inter, Senior categories. 
Three Team members of mixed gender, from the same establishment. Teams will be top 3 scoring athletes from their individual qualification round
Who Qualifies? All 8 individual finalists from each age category and top two teams from each age category will qualify for the National Final from both qualifying events.
National Final: Held at Sports Wales National Centre, (Sophia Gardens Cardiff CF11 9SW), on Wednesday 25 January 2017. The event will be hosted by the Welsh Target Shooting Federation.
