The 16th Annual "Inter-Plymouth Match" and concurrent "Plymouth Challenge" will take place on the South Range at Budleigh Farm, on Sunday 9th October.
Course of fire is an English Match.  Half hourly Details to commence at 10 a.m.
Cost is £14 for the match (including entry to all appropriate trophy competitions) There will also be a Grand Raffle - £1 a strip of 5 tickets.
Both matches are friendly International matches for self-selecting teams of six and the "Challenge" is open to everyone.
Anyone shooting for a club affiliated to the P&D League or living in Plymouth, can shoot for Plymouth (concurrently) in both matches, whilst anyone shooting for a club affiliated to DCSRA can shoot for "The Rest of Devon" in the Challenge match.
Teams are self-selecting in that the top six shooters from each area forms that area's "A" team, the next six are the "B" team and so on. Any left over are deemed to be "Shooting Reserves" who have been 'counted out'.
The Inter-Ply has been fought out over the years by Pylmouths in New Hampshire and Indiana, USA and New Plymouth, New Zealand.
They also shoot in the Challenge which in the past has included teams from The Rest of Devon, Cornwall, The rest of the West, Kenya, and even the South Dakota National Guard .
The top eight shooters at Budleigh Farm, regardless of which team they represent, will shoot off in a separate "Olympic Final", for the "Banana Frog Trophy", kindly sponsored by Dave Reed.
Other trophies are up for grabs, including the 'Rose Bowl' for the P&D Open 50m Champion, The Stafford Trophy for  the P&D Open Ladies Outdoor Champion, The Mayor's Shield for the P&D Open Club Teams of 3 and the Jubilee Trophy for the P&D (closed) Teams of 3.
