Your Executive Committee have been discussing the projected outcome of the current virus epidemic and its impact on County events.

We have decided that that we should follow current government guidance with respect to social gatherings which is in place for the forceable future.

In the past week arrangements for the annual dinner were beginning and a deposit was required for the venue. Current projections for refraining from social gatherings includes all of April. We have therefore chosen to not place a booking for the venue at this time, thus saving the potential loss of the deposit. Plans for an Annual prize giving are being considered for latter in the year.

Additionally as the DCSRA Annual General Meeting is required under the Constitution and Bye-laws to be held on or about the 2nd May each year, this also falls within the current projected time frame. We are therefore postponing the AGM until the earliest opportunity when it can be rearranged. The current Executive Committee are willing to remain in post in order to maintain continuity and will of course all stand down on the date of the AGM as required. Further announcements will be made leading up to the date of the AGM once a date has been set.

Extending on from May we also recognise that the June County shoot for Prone and Bench Rest as well as the following LSR & Pistol could be adversely affected. We therefore feel in is prudent to cancel those open meetings at this time.

We have been advised that some clubs have chosen to temporarily close whilst others are remaining open or have introduced an appointment system. Whatever the situation we hope all your members will all get back on a range as soon as possible.
